FixTools Document AI

Upload once. Turn one PDF into the outputs you need.

Read the PDF locally, then create a page-cited summary, study quiz, and flashcards without repeatedly uploading or extracting the same document.

Original file stays local

Only extracted text is sent for the selected AI task.

One extraction, three outcomes

Switch outputs without selecting the PDF again.

Page-grounded output

The extracted text retains page markers for citations.

One upload · multiple outcomes

Add your PDF once

FixTools extracts readable text locally, then you choose the output. The original PDF is not sent to the AI provider.

Checking access…

Workflow, not isolated tools

Keep the document context while the output changes.

The first Document AI workflow is intentionally narrow: one PDF, one browser session, and three proven outcomes built on the existing FixTools AI tools. This creates measurable workflow behavior without pretending that durable document storage or multi-document agents already exist.

Summarize

Create a TL;DR and key points while retaining page references from the source text.

Create a quiz

Turn course notes, articles, and chapters into multiple-choice practice with an answer key.

Make flashcards

Generate concise study prompts and answers that can be copied or downloaded for review.

Document AI questions

Does FixTools upload my original PDF to the AI provider?

No. The PDF is read in your browser. Only the extracted text needed for the selected AI operation is sent to the server-side AI workflow.

Can I create more than one output from the same PDF?

Yes. After extraction, you can create a summary, quiz, and flashcards without selecting the PDF again while the browser tab remains open.

What happens when the PDF is scanned?

A scanned PDF may not contain readable text. Use FixTools OCR PDF first, then return to the Document AI workspace with the searchable result.

Does FixTools save my document or generated outputs?

This workspace keeps the PDF text and generated outputs in the current browser tab only. They are not restored after the tab is closed.
