One PDF at a time, up to 25 MB and 100 pages. Processing happens on your device. OCR engine and language downloads require internet access.
Pages with existing selectable text keep that text and are not OCRed again. Mixed text-and-image pages may still contain unrecognized text inside images.
OCR can misread names, numbers, handwriting and complex layouts. Confidence is an engine estimate, not a measured accuracy percentage.
Searchable output retains every page, including pages with no recognized text. Review the page report before using it. Forms and signed PDFs are not supported for searchable output.
Higher resolution may help small print but takes longer. Very large pages are rendered at a bounded resolution to protect browser memory.
